TAROTBER was a month-long event designed and hosted by sus1d1p in October 2025. Each day of the event, which spanned from the 1st to the 28th, brought a unique gimmick, challenge, game, or event of its own, each themed around a card of the Major Arcana.

The idea behind Tarotber arose from sus' daily suspfp practices. After "commissioning" a major arcana deck from jony for an unrelated project a year before, he was in possession of a set of twenty-eight tarot pfps (due to THE LOVERS, THE DEVIL, and JUDGEMENT each featuring three faces). Combined with his traditional Halloween Witscord Tarot pfp and two others in similar styles, the thematic set was extended to encompass the entire month—and with precedent behind hosting gimmicks on days with especially meaningful pfps, the plan unfolded naturally.

O — THE FOOL ⠀ oct 1

IT BEGINS.

Sus first announced the event, reaching out in search of volunteers and generally encouraging participation while avoiding as many spoilers for the coming days as possible. Although a partial schedule was released with the intent of accruing volunteer signups, low turnouts led him to recruit specific members in a door-to-door fashion. Sus considered this move to be quite annoying, especially before any of the promised festivities actually occurred, but accepted it as necessary and appreciated that it further embodied THE FOOL.

@Puzzle People @WW Subscribers Hi! Sorry to break it to you, but this is not a puzzle, nor is it the latest edition of critically-defamed newspaper-magazine Witscord Weekly™. This is an opportunity if you will, an announcement if you won't, and a warning if you're still deciding. This is TAROTBER. For the entire month of October, as I cycle through my tarot card suspfps so graciously designed by @TheJonyMyster, I will be putting on a unique gimmick for every single day*. Some are entirely personal to me, some are events I'll be hosting, and some fall somewhere in between, but each day will bring a new surprise that aligns with the themes of card I'm displaying. I can't promise all of em will be good, per se—but I'm gonna try. And I'm gonna need your help. For a select few days, that's quite literal: the gimmick simply won't work without volunteer participants. If you're interested in applying, I'm looking for... October 7th-9th – 7-10 volunteers to come play a semi-asynchronous social-deduction game with me. I'll reveal specifics in DMs. October 10th – 2 or 3 players to individually verse me in a more... on-brand game. Or a volunteer ref to oversee it all. October 14th – Anyone who'd like an excuse to host a special event or gimmick of their own; a tournament, challenge, social experiment, anything. I'll help you plan, but you can be the star. October 16th – A select few individuals from this crowd who I'll be shooting a DM to anyway... but when the day comes, you might be able to join even if you're not one of them. (If you'd like to participate or have ANY questions at all, do NOT hesitate to inquire within. I'd like to reveal as little as necessary, but I'll be as transparent as possible, too.) And for the rest of the days... all I ask for is a captive audience. I know not everyone here particularly likes my antics, but I've been slowly plotting this for a while now. It's not the greatest feat. In fact, it's missing a lot of pieces, and i am fucking Terrified. But this whole project means a lot to me, and I've tried my very very hardest to make it cool and inviting and just plain fun. So even if you're dubious, I'd really, really appreciate it if you'd humor me just this once. Or, y'know, 28 times. Ish. And hey, if you're actually kinda pumped about this, lemme know! I've hijacked the admins' accounts to install a special @TAROTBER role so you don't miss any of the festivities. I — THE MAGICIAN ⠀ oct 2

Today's event will be plain and... easy.

Immediately before announcing the day's event, sus activated a lipogram for the letter M via trashbot's !lipo module. Sus then kept this constraint going for the duration of the day, including in DMs, texts, and real-life writing—a "slip-up" in the afternoon did negate his score in terms of trashbot's message counter, but he continued to avoid use of the letter afterwards. Although not exactly intended, sus was delighted to see other members attempt the challenge as well, including non, octa, jony, Casualjoe, lav, will, emmie, Fridgemancer, and Raz. Lavender ended up with the highest score of 243 points.

At 11:35 that night, sus then suddenly called for everyone's attention to "play a little game". After laying out six tarot cards (those being DEATH, THE EMPRESS, THE FOOL, JUSTICE, THE STAR, and THE HIGH PRIESTESS), he asked for a volunteer to pick a number from one to five. Upon the answer of 3 from octa, he removed card Ⅲ (THE EMPRESS) from the spread and asked for a new number, this time from one to four. Fullest picked 2; sus removed the two outermost cards (DEATH and THE HIGH PRIESTESS), "as requested".

Admitting that he was obviously moving the goalposts with these requests to isolate the card he wanted, sus provided the opportunity to freely choose a card from the three still left in the image. Emmie then selected THE FOOL. After confirming this choice with emmie and everyone else present, he instructed them to read out the first letter in each of his messages that day, starting from the very first use of the lipo command and ending just before the performance. These letters, extracted as lBhNernsbbynaqfunyypubbfryvXrbar, were gibberish—but as his final instruction, sus told the audience to ROT-13 the string, yielding the foretold prediction YOUAREAFOOLANDSHALLCHOOSELIKEONE.
