Fridgemancer is Witscord's local cold mage.[1] [2] She joined Witscord on the 3rd of June 2024, the same day her egg cracked. Her birthday is April 29th.[3] She currently resides in Vancouver.[4]

The name 'Fridgemancer' was originally conceived as a variant on the name 'Cool Guy' because unsurprisingly 'Cool Guy' is taken pretty much everywhere.
Fridgemancy is the divination of the cold, which is a subset of Tempurgery. Not to be confused with Cryomancy, even though they are very similar.
Astrid sounds like Asterid which is a large botanical order, which is why there's so many nicknames.
